omigoodness. Have we been busy having fun. since i have been back from Florida We've done two weddings. Emily and I have had so much fun. These two groups of people let us do all kinds of crazy things and you all know how I like a little bit of crazy. :)
so here are a couple (and when i say a couple i guess i really mean several) pictures from the Jake and Jessica Schmitt wedding and the Jacob and Molly Farmer Wedding.
Sounds like a lot of jake going on but let me just say i have never been in a room with as many emily's as we had at the Farmer wedding. Sister of the bride= Emily; sister of the groom= emily (both in wedding party); bridesmaid=emme;bridal party helper=emily; and my assistant.... yes you guessed it EMILY. the bride Mol....ly and the other bridesmaid Abb....ey kept the ending sounds the same for me. So yes, i went cra...zy the whole day keeping everyone straight.
If you haven't made your appt for the beach shoot better do it soon it is this next weekend.

well, so many things have happened lately i just haven't had time to update i really must be better in the future.
first of all Disney was awesome. We had the most incredible time. i have posted some pictures but if anyone is going and would like to hear the lengthy version of our disney vacation or must sees and dos please call me. So, how many pictures does a professional photographer take on vacation. well i took 2200 and narrowed my selection down to 1150. i am currently working on my disney coffee table book. (it will be in stores early july ha ha just kidding). I made a dvd movie of our images along with various disney songs it's only an hour long :) At disney they have these photopass photographers that take your picture, well everytime i tried to have one take our family picture betty started screaming. so i have a different picture from each day of our family in front of the castle with a screaming betty. i just have to laugh. finally the last day at night she at least looked at the photographer because i asked some bystander to stand behind the photographer and act crazy.
I also, want to thank Leslie Hunter and her family. They met us down there so i could take some family photos of them throughout the park for their Disney basement. We had a blast and the art pieces are fabulous. can't wait to see them hung in that basement.
well, we got back and after it took me a week to get back into the swing of things. Betty turned three. i have posted images from her three year photo shoot. as most of you know the betty photos are usually quite funny. She is my most challenging client. I usually have to bring in Emily for back up. Emily also helped take pictures of me, betty and my mom betty. Thanks Emily!! I love them. (even though i hate pictures of me) -- sound familiar everyone???
And Emily's baby Lila turned one. I was so excited that i got to take her picture. Emily made matching party hats for her and lila and joined in the fun. too cute. definitely something for everyone to think about.
an email will be going out shortly regarding the much awaited photoshop and digital scrapbooking classes. i can't wait. the photoshop class will be sunday July 13 and the first intro to digital scrapbooking will be July 27th.

ok, so silly me I thought Betty looks awfully cute today I'll just run in and snap a few photos. Well, just so everyone knows... no my kids don't always cooperate either. even knowing she had not had a nap today i still thought it would be a good idea.
So, while i was setting up she goes in the back to the prop room and gathers her props: a huge pair of pink sunglasses, a very large strand of pearls, a crown and the pink chair. Thinking i will let her do what she wants i put the chair in front of the lights. Well meltdown number one happened she wanted the chair next to the wall that is no where near the lights. so i proceeded to put the chair where i wanted it and her where i wanted her and i got the funniest most typical Betty images, that i absoultely love. Check out her black eye and large scrapes on her face from running into the door earlier in the week.
Hence my favorite phrase: "Oh, Betty!" which she uses herself quite frequently.

Spring Special Events
I can't believe it is already time to start thinking bunnies and chicks again. Last year was so much fun. I can hardly wait for this year. All my babies that have turned one this year are going to be a riot. Who will scream with excitement and who will scream in terror that is the question. There will certainly be several that won't want to touch the mossy grass or the animals. I don't think i need to name names I'm sure you parents know who I'm talking about. :)
This year I hope to have a water fountain involved so I'm thinking we may have baby ducks. Yes, I know I'm crazy kids, animals and water. But hey I have to keep it interesting and exciting.
